Job Summary:

The Director of Card Solutions will oversee all aspects of a financial institution's card operations, such as credit, debit, and prepaid card programs. This individual will manage teams, develop strategies to enhance card offerings, ensure compliance with regulations, and work to improve functioning systems and fraud prevention for Encore Bank.  

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The duties listed below are some of the duties that may be assigned and may not include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform.   • Oversee development and implementation of card solutions to drive customer relationships
  • Identify Opportunities: Pinpoint areas for revenue enhancement and cost reduction.
  • Develop strategies to maximize revenue and competitive advantage
  • Willingness and ability to collaborate with other teams to understand the various drivers for Encore Bank’s business and implement needed changes.
  • Oversee and develop key processes to improve fraud prevention practices
  • Ensure card programs are in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirement.
  • Ability to collaborate with, lead discussions and present to all employee levels within Encore Bank’s structure including executives, mid and high-level managers, and general team members.
  • Oversee and build relationships with vendors for card networks, programs, and technologies
  • Other duties as assigned

Type and Scope of Supervisory Responsibilities: 

  • May have supervisory responsibilities

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Technology, Economics, or a related field
  • At least 12 years of experience in banking, financial services, or payments.
  • Expert knowledge on payment ecosystem platforms and data-analysis tools
  • Must possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment across multiple teams within Encore Bank.
  • Strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks to complete work within deadlines

Attendance Requirements:

  • This position may be fully remote, however, in-person and/or hybrid attendance occasionally required for company and/or team meetings

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

  • This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel:

  • Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out of area and overnight travel may be expected
