Job description

Our goal is to be an Employer of Choice, and it takes all of us to achieve this.  That’s why all Commonwealth Credit Union Team Members are expected to live our Team 1 culture in all facets of their position.  Our team is committed to ‘bettering lives through our passion to serve’ and this includes everyone - from our team members to the people in the communities we serve.  We do this best when we appreciate each other for our differences, foster connections, and ensure an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive and be successful.

The Card Product Analyst plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic vision for the future of card products at Commonwealth Credit Union (CCU). This role involves close collaboration with the Product Management, Card Services, Lending, Marketing, Data Analytics, and Digital teams to enhance the member experience, expand product and service offerings, and drive portfolio growth.

The duties and responsibilities of a Card Product Analyst include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing, presenting data driven recommendations, maintaining, and executing the credit union's card product roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders to support the company's strategic plan, growth goals, and organizational KPIs.
  • Assessing the current state of CCU's card portfolio and related technologies to identify improvement opportunities and lead the development process for new products and systems, including the creation of product requirements, pricing strategies, and financial forecasts, placing the member at the center of all development work.
  • Responsible for working closely with Data Analytics leadership to develop and monitor the product lifecycle management of card products and services, prioritizing high-value products, and recommending appropriate enhancements, terminations, and consolidations.
  • Working collaboratively with the Product Management, Card Services, Lending, Marketing, Digital, and other departments to set and ensure alignment and successful implementation of payment strategies, evangelizing the purpose throughout the credit union.
  • Enhancing expertise by actively pursuing development opportunities, including but not limited to, attending conferences, acquiring certifications, completing learning courses internally and through other relevant platforms, or engaging in both internal and external leadership programs.
