What is a car unloader?

Car unloaders are workers responsible for unloading vehicles, such as boxcars, trailers, or shipping containers, at warehouses, distribution centers, or rail yards. Their main duties include handling cargo, using equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks, and ensuring that goods are safely and efficiently transferred from the vehicle to the facility. Car unloaders may also inspect shipments for damage, verify inventory, and follow safety procedures to prevent accidents.
