A small company based in Atlanta is expanding is seeking a mechanic or an auto-savvy individual to conduct mobile pre-purchase inspections for used cars. You will travel to car sellers’ locations, perform inspections, and then return home to complete reports on our website. The workload can vary from 0 to 4 cars per day.
Basic Skills:
Attention to detail
Good knowledge of cars and how they should and shouldn't perform.
Experience in car repair (either in a workshop or on personal vehicles)
We will provide all the necessary equipment (such as a paint meter and scan tool), but you will need your own car for travel.
The salary is workload-dependent. We anticipate around 60 inspections per month, which equates to an annual salary of approximately 88,800.
We have no special requirements and are ready to guide you, but you should be able to identify repainted body panels, detect fluid leaks, and recognize abnormal noises and vibrations.
