Job description

Job Summary:
NVIDIA is a leader in computer graphics and AI technology, and they are seeking a Senior Software Triage Engineer to work within their autonomous driving hardware and software development team. The role involves collaborating with various teams to manage test requests, automate metrics generation, and drive problem resolution to enhance the quality of AV software.
Responsibilities:
• Work with Product, Engineering, Model/SW Devs, In-car testing, Fleet teams on test request and triage planning, do live triage with accurate analysis and debugging steps, present top issues by end of day.
• Deep understanding on AD product definition and system specification, develop and maintain product performance with Top N based on triage analysis of in-car test and digital test.
• Work with collaborator teams to define test/triage target, requirements and process, supervise and improve triage efficiency and quality by steps.
• Automate product critical metric generation and robust evaluation to represent on the dashboard, provide triage target vision to support critical metric teams to understand the current state of our product/software and make priorities.
• Root cause and address the problems and drive them closure.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelors or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fields
• 8+ proven experience on ADAS/AD vehicle test, digital offline test or triage data analysis
• Technical in nature and be able to zoom in and out of scope as needed from the lowest detail to high level vision of the job
• Prior experience in Vehicle/System Integration, SW components debug, AD vehicle testing at large scale
• Prior experience trouble-shooting and triage workflows including Replay and Simulation
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to report top issues
• Problem solver and 'Buck stops with you'
Preferred:
• Strong in scripting/tools development
• Expert reciprocal and interpersonal skills, specifically a confirmed ability to effectively guide and influence within a dynamic work environment
