About Us:

We are a fast-growing car rental business operating on Turo, offering a diverse fleet of high-quality vehicles to customers. Our goal is to provide a seamless, enjoyable, and professional rental experience to all of our customers. We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Car Rental Agent to help us manage and maintain our fleet, ensure smooth operations, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Job Overview:

As a Car Rental Agent managing our Turo fleet, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our car rental operation on the Turo platform. This includes managing bookings, ensuring the vehicles are well-maintained, coordinating vehicle delivery/pickup, and providing top-tier customer support. You will play a key role in ensuring our cars are ready for rental and that our guests have an excellent experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Turo Listings: Regularly update and optimize car listings, including uploading photos, setting competitive pricing, and crafting engaging descriptions to attract customers.
  • Customer Communication: Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, booking requests, and messages. Provide all necessary information regarding vehicle features, rental policies, and delivery options.
  • Booking Coordination: Confirm and manage rental bookings, coordinate car delivery/pickup logistics, and ensure all rentals are on time and smooth.
  • Fleet Maintenance: Monitor and schedule routine maintenance and repairs to ensure all vehicles are in excellent working condition. Perform regular inspections to address any wear and tear.
  • Cleaning and Detailing: Ensure that all vehicles are thoroughly cleaned, inside and out, between rentals. Arrange for detailing services as needed.
  • Vehicle Check-In/Check-Out: Complete detailed check-ins/check-outs with customers, including documenting the car's condition and mileage, and handling fuel levels.
  • Customer Support & Conflict Resolution: Address any issues or concerns that arise during a rental, working to resolve disputes, offer solutions, and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Keep track of vehicle availability, ensuring accurate fleet inventory records and managing off-the-road (OTR) vehicles if necessary.
  • Review Management: Respond to customer reviews, thank them for positive feedback, and address any concerns in negative reviews to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the car rental industry, customer service, or fleet management is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Comfortable using the Turo platform and basic software tools (Google Sheets, Excel, etc.)—familiarity with Turo’s dashboard is a plus.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to resolve issues promptly.
  • Must be available for flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed to accommodate customer schedules.
  • Passion for cars and a desire to provide an exceptional customer experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Turo's policies and procedures.
  • Previous experience with fleet management or vehicle maintenance.
  • Basic knowledge of car detailing and cleaning.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish, etc.) are a plus.
