A Day in the Life of an Automotive Technician (but not limited to): 

  • Diagnosis and repair and accurately perform all repairs and maintenance 

  • Execute emissions inspections, safety checks, and similar state-regulated vehicle examinations 

  • Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and all manner of automotive repairs, that you are tasked and qualified to perform.    

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with the group leader and service advisor on recommended repairs and maintenance 

  • Preserve vehicle records by recording all services and repairs performed and recommended 

  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment 

  • PA State Inspection Certification Required 
  • Comfortability with all makes and models of vehicles 

  • Valid Driver’s License 

  • Time Management and the ability to work independently  

  • Physical demands include lifting 50+lbs with an extended period of time standing, sitting, and kneeling throughout the workday
