Now Hiring: Vehicle Handler - Georgetown, KY

A-Shift: $18.75/hr | B-Shift: $19.75/hr | On-Site | Drive Into Your Future

Do you have a valid driver's license, a love for shiny new cars, and the ability to brave the great outdoors like a vehicle handler superhero? If so, Road & Rail Services wants YOU to join our team as a Vehicle Handler-where your job is literally to drive new vehicles onto railcars for transport. That's right, you'll be the last person to touch a brand-new car before it hits the road (or rail)!

As a vehicle handler, you'll be working outside in all kinds of weather-sunshine, rain, snow, and everything in between. You'll inspect vehicles, drive them with precision, and make sure they're loaded safely and securely. It's a hands-on, high-impact role that's perfect for anyone who's part driver, part detail detective, and part vehicle loader legend.

What You'll Be Doing (Besides Feeling Like a Vehicle Handler Rockstar):

  • Drive new vehicles onto railcars like a pro-level vehicle loader.
  • Inspect vehicles for damage, fatigue, and anything suspicious.
  • Climb ladders (16-20 feet high!) and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout your shift.
  • Follow safety procedures like your job depends on it-because it does.
  • Work as part of a team that values safety, hustle, and another keyword to target if applicable.

What You'll Need to Bring:

  • High School Diploma/GED or the ability to get one (we believe in potential).
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • A love for teamwork and safety
  • A sense of humor and a strong work ethic-vehicle handler life isn't for the faint of heart.

Why Road & Rail Services? Since 1987, we've built our reputation on safety, quality, integrity, total value, flexibility, dependability, and consistency. We keep our word, fulfill our commitments, and deliver excellence with every railcar and vehicle we touch. Our team is known for promoting from within, working hard, and laughing harder. If you're looking for a company that values another keyword to target if applicable and treats every vehicle handler like a VIP, you've found your home.

Perks That'll Make You Smile:

  • Medical, Dental, Vision
  • 401K (because future-you deserves it)
  • Paid Holidays
  • PTO after 1 year
  • Annual steel toe boot allowance (your feet will thank you)
  • PPE provided (you'll look cool and stay safe)
  • Equal Opportunity Employer (we like all kinds of awesome people)

Ready to Be a Vehicle Handler Hero? Click now to fill out our 6-minute application, and we'll be in touch via email or phone to schedule your interview. Don't wait-your future as a vehicle handler/loader awaits!
