Job description

Job Purpose:

The Car Wash Associate - Finisher is responsible for delivering high-quality finishing services to guest vehicles. This includes hand-drying vehicle exteriors, vacuuming interiors, cleaning glass, and performing additional services with attention to detail and a focus on guest satisfaction. Finishers may also drive vehicles off the conveyor and reposition vehicles on-site if certified to do so.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent quality and customer service at all times
  • Follow all Mr. Clean Car Wash finishing procedures and training guidelines
  • Follow safety standards at all times
  • Dry vehicle exteriors and clean interior surfaces
  • Enter and drive vehicles off the conveyor when certified
  • Greet guests with a smile and by name when possible
  • Present vehicles to guests, confirm satisfaction, and thank them
  • Ensure high-quality results on every guest vehicle
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
  • Keep towels and supplies stocked
  • Wash and dry towels using on-site laundry machines
  • Assist in other car wash areas as needed to maintain flow
  • Help maintain overall site appearance including lot, windows, bathrooms, lobby, tunnel, and landscaping
  • Hold promotional signage near the street when assigned
  • Notify management of any safety, mechanical, cleanliness, or guest service issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to remain on your feet throughout the entire shift
  • Physically able to bend, kneel, squat, reach, and lift
  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow within multiple roles

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to serve as a Loader or Passenger Side Attendant, or to move guest vehicles
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
