Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Helper / Garage Door Installer to join our team in Fredericksburg, VA. This is a hands-on position that supports both daily warehouse operations and our garage door installation team in the field.
The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, comfortable with physical work, and willing to learn. Previous warehouse, construction, installation, maintenance, or general labor experience is helpful, but we are also willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with receiving, organizing, loading, and unloading garage doors, openers, parts, and other materials.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and work area.
  • Prepare and load materials and equipment needed for scheduled installations.
  • Assist installers with the installation, removal, and replacement of residential garage doors and related equipment.
  • Safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other installation equipment.
  • Help transport materials to and from job sites as needed.
  • Follow company safety procedures and proper lifting and material-handling practices.
  • Assist with inventory organization and general warehouse duties.
  • Provide professional and courteous service while working at customer locations.
  • Perform other warehouse, installation, and general support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be dependable and able to report to work on time.
  • Ability to perform physical labor throughout the workday, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling heavy materials.
  • Comfortable working with tools and learning installation procedures.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to safety and instructions.
  • Previous experience in warehouse work, construction, installation, maintenance, or a similar hands-on position is preferred but not required.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred.
  • Must be able to successfully complete company-required pre-employment screening.

Work Environment
This position involves a combination of warehouse and field work. Employees may work indoors and outdoors and may be exposed to varying temperatures and weather conditions while assisting at customer locations.
