Job Summary:
Cardinal Integrated Technologies Inc is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to enhance and maintain the quality of their products. The role involves architecting, designing, and implementing customer-oriented applications with a focus on QA automation.
Responsibilities:
• Help increase and maintain the quality of products.
• Architect, design, and implement diverse customer-oriented applications.
• Utilize automation wherever possible; supplement with manual testing, if needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
• +2 years of experience doing QA automation of mass-market web applications.
• Substantial experience working with Selenium and/or Appium.
• Demonstrable expertise in either Java or PHP.
• Experience with integrating QA automation as part of a Continuous Integration (CI) process.
• Experience with cross-browser testing and related tools (SauceLabs, VMs, Capybara, etc)
• Utilize automation wherever possible; supplement with manual testing, if needed.
• Exposure to and understanding of XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience working with relational databases and working knowledge of SQL.
• Practical experience using source code control systems, especially Git, SVN or Perforce.
• Hands on experience in Eclipse IDE, Ant, Maven or any other building tool.
• Experience working in Unix environments (basic shell programming and command line).
• Experience working in a fast paced scrum based agile environment.
• Expertise in the entire software lifecycle requirements capture, analysis, design, implementation, quality assurance, deployment, and maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively work in team environment with minimal supervision.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field required. Strong relevant work experience considered.
