Job description

About Us
We're a well-established Allstate agency in the Boise/Meridian area — serving Idaho families since 1982. Under new ownership as of 2026, we're investing in modern tools and building a team that takes care of customers the right way. We're small, fast-moving, and looking for someone who wants to be the person this office can't run without.

The Role
This is the backbone-of-the-office role. You'll be the first voice customers hear when they call, the person who keeps policies, renewals, and daily operations running smoothly, and the one who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks. You'll handle inbound service calls, process policy changes, manage the mail and office flow, and free up our sales team to do what they do best — sell.
This isn't a "manage a big team from a desk" job. It's a working role where you own the service side of a small agency and keep the whole operation humming.

What You'll Do Day to Day
  • Answer inbound calls — policy questions, billing issues, coverage changes, claims intake
  • Process endorsements, policy changes, and renewal reviews in Allstate systems
  • Handle the daily office flow: mail, filing, follow-ups, keeping things organized
  • Coordinate between our sales producers and customers for smooth handoffs
  • Follow up on outstanding items — missing documents, pending payments, renewal notices
  • Help onboard new customers after a sale is closed
  • Be the go-to person when something needs to get done and nobody else is doing it

Who You Are
  • You've worked in an insurance agency, doctor's office, property management company, or similar customer-facing operations role — you know what it's like to juggle phones, paperwork, and people all day
  • You're organized, reliable, and you don't need someone looking over your shoulder
  • You communicate clearly — on the phone, in person, via email
  • You pick up new software quickly (we use Allstate platforms, CRM tools, and phone systems)
  • Idaho P&C license is a plus — if you don't have one, we'll help you get licensed within 30 days

Nice to Have
  • Experience in an Allstate or captive insurance agency
  • Familiarity with agency management systems
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Someone who's worked in a small business before and understands that "not my job" doesn't exist

Compensation & Details
  • Pay: $20–$24/hour ($42,000–$50,000 annually), based on experience
  • Commission opportunity on service-generated sales
  • Full-time, in-office (Meridian, ID)
  • A small team where your work is visible, valued, and makes a direct impact
  • Room to grow as the agency grows — this role can evolve into a true operations manager
