The team works closely with real estate professionals, lenders, buyers, and sellers to ensure smooth and transparent transactions. The company emphasizes customer service, attention to detail, and clear communication throughout the closing process. Role Description The Title Processor/Closer is a full-time, on-site role based in Cookeville, TN, responsible for managing residential and commercial real estate transactions from file opening through post-closing. Day-to-day responsibilities include ordering and reviewing title searches, preparing title commitments, coordinating with lenders, real estate agents, and clients, and resolving title issues or discrepancies. The role involves preparing closing documents, balancing and disbursing funds, conducting or assisting with closings, and ensuring all documents are properly executed, recorded, and archived. The Title Processor/Closer also maintains detailed transaction files, adheres to regulatory and company compliance standards, and provides clear, professional communication to all parties throughout the closing process.

Qualifications

  • Experience in title processing, closing, or escrow services, including preparing title commitments and closing documents.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, loan documents, and recording requirements in Tennessee or similar jurisdictions.
  • Proficiency with title and escrow software, document management systems, and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Clear, professional communication skills for interacting with lenders, agents, clients, and internal team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret legal and financial documents and identify issues that may affect closing.
  • Customer service mindset, with the ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in real estate, paralegal studies, or related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a title company, law firm, or lending environment strongly preferred.
