BP Products N.A. Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee the successful delivery of complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and budget requirements.
Job Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of project lifecycle, including project execution planning, design development, and delivery.
  • Implement and utilize established frameworks and methodologies to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules and resource allocation plans.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks through comprehensive Risk Management strategies.
  • Ensure rigorous Project HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) compliance and promote a strong safety culture, including Project and construction safety.
  • Conduct thorough Requirements Management, ensuring all project deliverables meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Manage project budgets and financial performance, including sourcing management and supplier relationship management.
  • Facilitate effective Stakeholder Management and communication, resolving conflicts and building consensus.
  • Oversee Project Commissioning and ensure successful handover of completed projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement through performance management and post-project reviews.
  • Apply strong Conflict Management skills to address project challenges and interpersonal dynamics effectively.
  • Oversee construction activities, ensuring quality and compliance with design specifications.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management and project controls systems.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience preferred, with demonstrated capability delivering projects greater than $20M and managing multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Knowledge of and experience with stage gated project execution processes.
  • Experience in identifying and managing risk throughout the project lifecycle from project development to project closeout.
  • Understanding of front-end loading (FEL) concepts, engineering, and project development.
  • Experience in project execution planning including project contracting and construction strategy development.
  • Familiar with relevant refining industry practices, codes, and standards.
  • Strong organization, teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Adept at Conflict Management.
  • Relevant professional certifications or charterships (e.g., PMP, APM) are highly desirable.

How much do we pay (Base)? $126,000 - $170,000
*Note that the pay range listed for this position is a genuinely expected and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.
This position offers paid vacation depending on your years of relevant industry experience and will range from 120 - 240 hours of vacation per year for full times employees (60 - 240 hours of vacation per year for part time employees). You will also be eligible for 9 paid holidays per year and 2 personal choice holidays.
