The assignment is working onsite with Capitol Region Education Council (CREC) in Hartford, CT.* Position Starts Immediately* This is an In Office call center in Hartford, CT.HOURS & COMPENSATION* Available shift: 12:30pm-7:30pm OR 530am-1230PM * Monday through Friday* Mandatory Overtime* $17.50/hrREQUIREMENTS* Must have at least one(1) year of experience in a call center * Computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook* Ability to work in a heavy call volume environment* Demonstrated customer service excellence over the phone, in-person, and through email * Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide parents, schools, and transportation providers with transportation needs.* Process transportation change requests* Process transportation complaints from parents and school* Work as a liaison between parents, schools, and transportation providers* Resolve issues to ensure safe and timely transportation* Maintain records for the transportation department including student roster, route sheets, transportation changes, alternate schedules, accident reports, and database etc.* Assist with Choice: process for K-3 students whose parents fail to meet them at their assigned bus stop* Assist the director and manager of transportation as needed* Adherence to all school district, State, and Board of Education regulations, law and policies pertaining to duties, conduct, confidentiality, security, and ethics.
