Job description

About HealthVerity
HealthVerity is the leading infrastructure provider for identity, privacy, governance, and data exchange to pharma, insurers, and government. Our platform manages 250+ billion HIPAA-compliant transactions across 340 million Americans, with privacy-protecting identity resolution that is 10x more accurate than traditional methods, and is deployed at 250+ major pharma, insurance, and data ecosystem partners.
In May 2026, HealthVerity completed the acquisition of Symphony Health from ICON plc - bringing together HealthVerity's Marketplace and Identity Manager infrastructure with Symphony Health's 40+ years of leadership in pharma commercial data and analytics, including its Integrated Dataverse (IDV®) open claims platform, Synoma® tokenization engine, PatientSource® longitudinal data, and a brand analytics, targeting, and managed markets portfolio.
The combined company spans the end-to-end pharma life cycle - R&D, RWE/HEOR, government, partners, media, and commercial T&C and BA - with 200M+ active 2-year patient coverage in closed claims, 125M+ active patient coverage via EMR, 90% retail pharmacy Rx coverage, 67% specialty drug activity, and 7 of the top 10 closed claims suppliers. Together, we are defining the next era of healthcare data: best-in-class quality and coverage, modern infrastructure, and relentless innovation on patient insights in the highest-growth markets.
The Opportunity
We are hiring our SVP, Product to lead the strategy, vision, and execution of the entire product portfolio for the combined company. As a member of the executive leadership team reporting directly to the CEO, the SVP, Product will own the long-term direction of how HealthVerity transforms data, analytics, and AI capabilities into differentiated, durable, market-leading products across client segments.
This is a defining role at a defining moment. The healthcare data market is being reshaped: clients are squeezing budgets and demanding broader, more clinical insights; data source transparency is increasing; and AI is fundamentally changing how insights are produced, delivered, and consumed - collapsing traditional cost structures and creating new opportunities for differentiated value. The combined HealthVerity + Symphony Health platform is uniquely positioned to lead this transition - and the SVP, Product will be the leader who defines what we build, how we monetize it, and how we use AI to move from data sales into higher-margin, differentiated software-and-services offerings.
This leader will serve as a true partner to the CEO and executive team - helping to shape our commercial strategy, capital allocation, M&A, and go-to-market direction alongside owning product strategy and execution with the goal of driving growth and industry differentiation.
What You'll Do
Set the product vision for the combined company
  • Own and articulate the multi-year product vision and strategy across the entire portfolio - closed claims, open claims, EMR, labs, sell-in/wholesale, consumer, SDOH, and tokenized linkage - bridging Marketplace, fixed contract, and SaaS models into a unified, differentiated offering.
  • Identify market opportunities and emerging trends to inform innovation and product roadmap.
  • Lead the integration of Symphony Health's IDV®, Synoma®, PatientSource®, and brand analytics suite with HealthVerity's Marketplace, Identity Manager, Mastersets, Taxonomy, Pathways, Audiences, and eXos into one coherent product platform.
  • Translate the "How We Win Together" strategy - best quality and coverage, best cost efficiency, and innovation for long-term growth - into a prioritized, measurable product roadmap that the entire company executes against.
  • Partner with the executive team on pricing, packaging, licensing, commercial strategy, and capital allocation across client segments.
  • Represent the product organization externally - to clients, partners, investors, the board, and the industry - as a recognized voice on the future of healthcare data and AI.
Build the product organization
  • Build, lead and scale a world-class product management organization across the combined company.
  • Establish the operating model, leveling, and craft standards for product management at HealthVerity - defining what excellence looks like in discovery, prioritization, measurement, lifecycle management, pricing, and packaging.
  • Drive a high-performance, high-trust culture that attracts the best product talent in healthcare data and AI.
  • Mentor and develop the next generation of product leaders.
Lead AI-native product innovation
  • Define the AI product strategy for the combined company - including LLM-powered abstraction of unstructured clinical data, retrieval and summarization across longitudinal records, predictive models for patient finding and brand performance, and agentic workflows that operationalize insights inside client systems.
  • Partner with the Chief Data Scientist and CTO to ship AI features that meaningfully reduce the cost-to-deliver analytics while expanding margin - turning data sales into higher-value software-and-services offerings.
  • Operate within and advance responsible-AI guardrails and evaluation frameworks suited to regulated healthcare contexts: privacy preservation, bias, hallucination, clinical validity, and human-in-the-loop design.
  • Champion platform thinking and interoperability - ensuring HealthVerity products are accessible via well-designed APIs, embedded analytics, and partner integrations rather than one-off extracts.
Drive deep client and market intuition
  • Serve as the company's executive voice on healthcare data and analytics - its structure, provenance, quality, regulatory constraints, and the realities of how pharma, payer, and government clients use it.
  • Lead enterprise-level voice-of-client work across the client base (~45% large pharma, ~35% biotech, ~20% non-pharma, plus insurers and government) - translating client needs into product investments and pricing strategy.
  • Own the use-case map across the pharma life cycle: R&D and clinical development, RWE/HEOR, brand analytics, launch planning, salesforce sizing and incentive comp, omnichannel targeting, managed markets, patient journey, precision alerts, and underwriting.
  • Direct expansion into the highest-growth areas: custom clinical insights, specialty and medical-benefit patient populations, and connected views across pharmacy, medical, and hospital claims.
Lead the product integration of HealthVerity + Symphony Health
  • Own the end-to-end product integration of the combined company, rationalizing overlap, sequencing migrations, protecting client commitments, and capturing the strategic synergies the combination creates.
  • Identify and deliver against revenue and cost synergies: contract renegotiation leverage, infrastructure consolidation, process modernization, and cross-sell of HealthVerity capabilities into Symphony Health's pharma book and vice versa.
  • Partner with Legal, Privacy, and Compliance to align governance, data use agreements, and supplier terms across the combined entity.
Own product P&L and business outcomes
  • Own the financial and operational KPIs for the product organization: revenue, gross margin, adoption, retention, time-to-value, data quality and coverage metrics, AI model performance, and integration synergy capture.
  • Make capital allocation tradeoffs across the portfolio - investing in the products that compound the most value, sunsetting what doesn't, and bringing executive discipline to product economics.
  • Partner with the CEO and COO on long-range planning, board reporting, and value creation milestones.

What You Bring
Required experience
  • 18+ years of product leadership experience, including 5+ years as a senior Product leader or equivalent executive role with full ownership of product strategy and a multi-product portfolio at scale.
  • Deep background in healthcare data, life sciences, or health technology - you understand the industry landscape and can hit the ground running.
  • Hands-on expertise across multiple healthcare data types - claims (open and closed, medical and pharmacy), EHR/EMR, lab, Rx/sell-in, SDOH, consumer, and/or tokenized linkage - with a clear, differentiated point of view on how they fit together into a winning portfolio.
  • Demonstrated success leading large data product portfolios serving life sciences, payer, and/or government clients across use cases such as brand analytics, targeting and incentive compensation, RWE/HEOR, managed markets, or patient finding.
  • Proven track record of shipping AI- and ML-powered products at scale - including generative AI or LLM-based capabilities - with a clear point of view on responsible AI in healthcare.
  • Executive-level experience building, leading, and scaling product organizations across multiple product lines, geographies, and disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a key member of the executive team - contributing to commercial strategy, M&A, integration, capital allocation, and board-level decisions, not just product roadmaps.
  • A history of operating in fast-moving, complex, regulated environments and consistently delivering against ambitious commercial and integration outcomes.
Highly preferred
  • Experience leading product integration following a merger, acquisition, or carve-out at executive level - the combination of HealthVerity and Symphony Health is exactly that situation.
  • Deep working knowledge of modern data infrastructure (cloud data platforms, lakehouse architectures), tokenization and privacy-preserving linkage, FHIR-based interoperability, and OMOP/CDM.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and contractual frameworks: HIPAA, BAAs, data use agreements, de-identification standards (Safe Harbor and Expert Determination), and emerging AI regulation.
  • A quantitative or clinical foundation (data science, biostatistics, epidemiology, clinical informatics, public health, pharmacy, or medicine) paired with commercial executive leadership.
  • Experience presenting to and engaging with boards, investors, and external clients as the senior product voice for a company.
How you operate
  • You set the bar for product strategy and executive leadership - and the people around you measurably level up as a result.
  • You translate complex healthcare and technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for clients, executives, investors, and engineers.
  • You operate with equal command in a client discovery session, an architecture review, a board strategy discussion, and a contract renegotiation.
  • You hold strong opinions, loosely held, about what makes a great data and AI product portfolio - and a bias toward shipping value over shipping features.
  • You build trust quickly across executive peers and earn the right to lead through expertise, integrity, and a track record of delivering.
Why Join Now
  • A rare opportunity to step into a senior product leadership role at a newly combined healthcare data and AI leader - shaping the product function from day one, at the exact moment the industry is being reshaped.
  • A seat on the executive leadership team, with direct accountability for product strategy, integration, and long-term value creation alongside the CEO.
  • Access to one of the most comprehensive data footprints in U.S. healthcare: 250B+ transactions, 340M+ patient lives, 200M+ active 2-year closed claims coverage, 125M+ EMR coverage, 90% retail pharmacy, 67% specialty drug activity, and 7 of the top 10 closed claims suppliers.
  • A founder-led leadership team with 100+ years of combined industry experience from IQVIA, SDI, Google, Comcast, ClearDATA, and Accolade.
  • A capital-efficient, scaled platform - and the mandate to use AI to move up the value chain into higher-margin, differentiated solutions.
