Job description

Youโ€™ve Never Been Satisfied with "Good Enough."

You want to make an impact, not just manage projects, but change how the world gets built. At Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects, youโ€™ll do exactly that. Youโ€™ll help develop and deliver the factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure that keep communities moving โ€“ and do it smarter, safer, and more sustainably than ever before.

Youโ€™ll work alongside people who think big and act bold โ€“ project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists who blend realโ€‘world experience with digital innovation and AI. Together, weโ€™re transforming how capital projects are planned, managed, and executed, creating a better way to build for the future.

Because โ€œgood enoughโ€ builds the past. Youโ€™re here to build whatโ€™s next, on a team that outperforms every norm.

THE WORK:
  • Youโ€™ll support delivery and growth for our Infrastructure & Capital Projects (I&CP) practice within the Energy sector. This role is ideal for a practitioner who combines prior industry experience with consulting delivery leadership, and who is eager to deepen their impact across capital program execution, digital enablement, and client advisory.
  • Youโ€™ll lead workstreams or discrete engagements across capital programs and projects in the energy sector (upstream, midstream, downstream, LNG, power, renewables).
  • Youโ€™ll support senior client stakeholders with capital project execution, governance, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Youโ€™ll apply industry and delivery experience to support improvements in cost, schedule, risk, and change management.
  • Youโ€™ll develop highโ€‘quality client deliverables, insights, and recommendations grounded in realโ€‘world capital project execution.
  • Youโ€™ll support the application of digital tools and platforms used in capital project delivery (e.g., cost, schedule, portfolio, and controls systems).
  • Youโ€™ll contribute to engagements involving PMIS implementation, optimization, or adoption, working closely with digital and technology teams.
  • Youโ€™ll help translate data, analytics, and emerging AI use cases into practical applications for capital planning, forecasting, reporting, and execution.
  • Youโ€™ll focus on value realization, supporting adoption, data quality, and performance transparency rather than tool configuration alone.
  • Youโ€™ll support proposal development, pursuit execution, and client presentations, including development of workplans, estimates, and storylines.
  • Youโ€™ll contribute content to offerings, points of view, and client materials related to capital delivery and digital enablement.
  • Youโ€™ll participate in account and practice initiatives that support pipeline development and client expansion.
  • Youโ€™ll manage and mentor consultants and analysts, providing dayโ€‘toโ€‘day guidance and coaching.
  • Youโ€™ll coordinate activities across onshore and offshore teams, ensuring quality, consistency, and delivery discipline.
  • Youโ€™ll support practice initiatives related to capability building, assets, and knowledge development.
  • Youโ€™ll model strong delivery rigor, professionalism, and clientโ€‘first mindset.
  • Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.
  • With all our roles, there is some inโ€‘person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • 3โ€“7 years of experience in a consulting environment, with demonstrated delivery responsibility
  • Prior industry experience in engineering, construction management, project controls, or capital project delivery strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting energy clients, EPCs, or owner organizations on capital programs or projects
  • Exposure to digital delivery environments, including capital project data, reporting, or PMIS tools
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field OR 10+ years of relevant industry experience in lieu of formal degree
  • Ability to support global clients and travel as required
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • Working knowledge of project controls disciplines (cost, schedule, estimating, risk, change)
  • Exposure to capital digital platforms (e.g., EcoSys, SAP PPM/EPPM, Primavera P6, Aconex, Unifier, or similar)
  • Familiarity with analytics or AIโ€‘enabled use cases in forecasting, scheduling, risk analysis, or construction productivity
  • Experience working within ownersโ€™ teams, EPCs, or integrated delivery model
  • Interest in developing commercial and pursuit skills as part of career progression

$150,000 - $180,000 a year
