Mechanical Engineering Internship

The Engineering Intern is responsible for assisting the Dexter Team with engineering project dentification,
project support, and project leadership as assigned by partnering and collaborating with the Engineering
Team and Site Team.

Potential locations for this internship include Northern Indiana (Elkhart, Albion, Freemont) as well as Oklahoma and Texas.

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will be working on robust, hands-on projects. Potential projects may include:
• Project definition, scoping, and documented project plan
• Continuous improvement
• Capital projects
• Safety improvements
• Automation
• Debottlenecking and capacity utilization
• Time studies
• Ergonomic studies and improvements
• Troubleshooting equipment and processes
• Plant layout
• Project estimation
• Material handling
• Create documents, drawings, training as needed to support and complete project(s)
