Role: Capital Market Business Analyst

Location: Quincy, MA (Hybrid)

Duration: Long Term

JD:

The Technical Business Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners to deliver solutions within the Capital Markets, Asset Management domains. The role requires strong analytical skills, hands on experience with technology platforms, and a solid understanding of financial products, investment processes, and market operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Capital Markets, Asset Management, and Fixed Income initiatives.
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and architecture teams to ensure accurate solution delivery.
  • Support system design discussions, data mapping, and workflow analysis.
  • Perform gap analysis, impact assessments, and process improvements.
  • Coordinate UAT planning, test case creation, and defect triage.
  • Work with stakeholders across trading, portfolio management, risk, operations, and compliance teams.
  • Ensure solutions align with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide production support analysis and troubleshoot issues as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of Capital Markets and Asset Management products such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, structured products, and investment vehicles.
  • Experience with trade lifecycle, settlements, clearing, portfolio management workflows, and risk processes.
  • Ability to write BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flows.
  • Hands on experience with SQL, data analysis, and system integrations.
  • Familiarity with trading platforms, OMS/EMS, market data systems, portfolio management systems, or risk engines.
