Position Overview

The Market Intelligence Specialist – Private Capital supports investment and business development teams by providing research, analysis, and actionable insights on private capital markets. The role combines market intelligence, competitive analysis, and data-driven reporting to help inform investment decisions, deal sourcing, and strategic initiatives.

This position often involves collaboration with investment professionals, portfolio managers, research analysts, and strategy teams.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research on private capital markets, including private equity, venture capital, real assets, and credit

  • Analyze market trends, fundraising activity, deal flow, valuations, and competitive dynamics

  • Track and benchmark fund and portfolio performance, including peer comparisons and sector insights

  • Build and maintain dashboards, databases, and analytical tools to deliver actionable insights

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and ad-hoc market intelligence reports for senior management and investment teams

  • Identify emerging opportunities, market shifts, and strategic trends relevant to the firm’s investment focus

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support fundraising, investor relations, and business development efforts

Preferred Qualifications
