Job DescriptionVice President – Investor RelationsThe Vice President of Investor Relations will work directly with the Managing Director, Head of Investor Relations to manage relationships with existing and prospective investors and execute on the firm’s capital strategy across its student housing and multifamily platforms. The Vice President of Investor Relations will be heavily involved in the firm’s strategic capital initiatives including new fund formation and programmatic partnerships with direct LPs. The Investor Relations team serves as the primary bridge between the firm’s development, finance, and leadership teams and its investor base, ensuring clear, consistent communication of project performance, pipeline activity, and strategic direction.The Vice President will play a key role in shaping the firm’s investor narrative, supporting capital raising efforts, and ensuring a high level of service and transparency across all investor interactions.Reports to: Managing Director of Equity Capital Markets & Investor RelationsDirect Reports: NoneResponsibilities: The duties listed below are an outline of the Vice President’s responsibilities and should not be considered an all-inclusive list. As the needs of the company change, these duties may be modified as needed.Assist with investor communications, including updates on project performance, development progress, and portfolio strategyRespond to investor inquiries and coordinate responses to due diligence requests in partnership with internal teamsMaintain visibility into investor feedback, sentiment, and areas of focus across the portfolioSupport the execution of capital raising initiatives across new and existing investment vehicles, joint ventures, and partnershipsPartner with senior leadership to position investment opportunities and communicate strategy to prospective investorsTrack investor engagement and support pipeline development throughout fundraising cyclesAssist in coordinating investor meetings and presentations tied to capital formation effortsOversee the development of investor-facing materials, including:Investor presentationsOffering and deal materialsQuarterly and annual reporting packageEnsure messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with the firm’s strategy and brandTranslate complex development, financial, and operational information into clear, concise investor communicationsPartner with internal teams to analyze investment performance, development timelines, and portfolio results for investor reportingSupport due diligence processes by coordinating internal data and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of materialsMonitor market trends, investor preferences, and competitive positioning across student housing and multifamily sectorsWork closely with development, acquisitions, asset management, and finance teams to gather and validate information for investor communicationsCoordinate across teams to ensure alignment on messaging, timelines, and deliverables tied to investor reporting and capital initiativesSupport senior leadership in preparing for investor meetings, presentations, and strategic discussionsProvide guidance and oversight to junior team members supporting investor relations and reporting effortsHelp establish processes and best practices for investor communications, reporting, and data managementContribute to a collaborative, high-performance team environment focused on responsiveness and qualityPreferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities7–10+ years of experience in real estate fundraising or a closely related field.Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a focus in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or other relevant subject matterUnderstanding of underwriting and investment concepts and the ability to apply conceptsAdvanced financial and analytical skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and ExcelWork EnvironmentThe work environment characteristics described herein are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
