How you will make history here...

The Walmart Category Leadership Associate Manager serves as a category advisor to Walmart. They provide the analytical foundation for the category leadership team. This role is responsible for reporting, data management, modular support, and insight generation that enable stronger category recommendations and execution. The Associate Manager develops analytical expertise while supporting category growth initiatives.

What you will do...

Develop recurring and ad hoc reporting to support merchant requests and category analyses.

Maintain item attribution and data integrity.

Manage Quick Base requests, store lists, reporting requests, compliance and requirement tracking, and supporting category administration.

Support modular development, modular review, and modular drawing.

Leverage syndicated, shopper, and retailer data to generate insights and identify opportunities.

Build reporting automation and improve efficiency of analytical processes.

Support development of category reviews, presentations, and insight summaries.

Partner with Managers and Team Leads to deliver proactive data-driven recommendations.

Monitor digital and in-store performance for Walmart category and compare to competition

Own layout center and mod room execution

Ensure high levels of accuracy, responsiveness, and attention to detail.

What you bring to the table... (Must have)

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Experience: 4+ years of business experience with 1+ years of category management, analytics, shopper insights, or related experience. Prior experience working with Walmart.

Working Conditions

Hybrid work model based in Rogers, AR. Occasional travel required. Work may occasionally require physical activity and lifting up to 30 lbs. in layout centers or modular rooms.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$87,900-$120,900

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
