Job description

Principal, Global Leadership & Organization Capability

Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.

Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.

Micron is entering a new era where AI accelerates not only what we build, but how we learn, lead, and evolve. The Principal, Leadership & Organization Capability plays a meaningful role in helping Micron achieve excellence and transform the enterprise. This role equips leaders to perform quickly, redesign work with AI, and sustain business impact.

We are seeking a forward-thinking leadership development practitioner with deep expertise in building leadership capability and a solid understanding of how AI can enhance learning, scale impact, and accelerate transformation. This role will serve as a critical enabler of enterprise culture change by reshaping how leadership development is designed, delivered, and continuously improved for the future of work.

Requirements:
  • Leadership & AI Transformation: Lead the people and leadership dimension of AI transformation by defining, operationalizing, and activating the behaviors leaders must signal, model, and reinforce to foster a culture of speed, curiosity, and innovation. Design and scale experiences that equip leaders to navigate ambiguity, lead change, and guide teams through role reinvention and new ways of working with confidence and clarity.
  • Develop the Leadership Continuum: Architect differentiated leadership pathways across the leadership continuum, ensuring leaders are equipped to scale their impact through others. Align leadership experiences to Micron's Leadership Attribute Model, embedding the behaviors and perspectives required to drive culture transformation and business performance. Leverage assessment-led development (e.g., 360 feedback, readiness indicators, behavioral benchmarks) to personalize development, accelerate capability growth, and improve leadership effectiveness at scale.
  • Leadership Development Governance & Scaled Delivery: Establish and govern the leadership development portfolio as an enterprise capability system, ensuring consistent design standards, quality, and alignment to Micron's business, culture, and transformation priorities. Build and scale a global facilitator ecosystem capable of delivering high-impact leadership experiences with consistency, relevance, and quality. Continuously optimize how leaders learn by integrating facilitated experiences, digital enablement, and in-the-flow learning to drive application, performance, and capability growth at scale.
  • Measurement & Continuous Improvement: Establish a measurement strategy that demonstrates the impact of leadership development on leadership capability, talent readiness, and organizational outcomes.
  • Engagement: Partner closely with Talent Partners and key leaders to align leadership development priorities with evolving business and talent needs. Build and drive adoption of leadership development strategies and initiatives across the organization.
  • Strategic Leadership & Transformation Catalyst: Translate evolving business priorities into scalable leadership strategies and solutions that accelerate organizational capability, leadership effectiveness, and transformation outcomes.
  • Innovative & Data-Driven: Leverage AI, experiential learning, and continuous improvement practices to enhance leadership capability. Use data, insights, and customer influence to drive adoption and deliver measurable organizational impact.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in leadership development, organizational development, culture transformation, and/or enterprise change management, with deep expertise in designing and delivering global leadership development programs.
  • Ability to build leadership capability systems—not just programs—linked to measurable business and transformation outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience operating at enterprise level, influencing senior partners and aligning leadership development to strategic priorities.
  • Proven track record in translating strategy into scalable leadership experiences, including cohort-based programs, in-role development, and assessment-led interventions.
  • Experience bringing to bear data, insights, or analytics to inform build decisions and measure leadership impact.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Exposure to applying AI, digital tools, or data-driven approaches to improve leadership development, decision-making, or organizational outcomes is an advantage.
  • Experience working across global teams and business environments, applying insights from diverse perspectives to build leadership experiences with broad global relevance.
  • Exposure to large-scale transformation initiatives, with an understanding of the leadership capabilities required to navigate change, drive adoption, and sustain impact.
