Position Overview
Technicians may be eligible for up to $10,000 sign on bonus or $10,000 in Tuition Forgiveness!

Compensation Range:
$30.58 - $45.86 per hour, depending on experience
As a member of our team, you would be enabled to:
  • Perform routine and specialized tests in your assigned CAP and NYS accredited, high quality laboratory.
  • Monitor lab processes while verifying results, in a timely manner.
  • Work alongside an experienced team that is built around integration and automation, focused on collaboration and efficiency.

With six (6) years' experience, you may, in the absence of the supervisor, direct daily activities of their section according to UHS Hospitals', Laboratory and Departmental Policies and Procedures, NYSDOH, CDC, and UHSH Infection Control Policies and Procedures.

Education/Experience:
Clinical Laboratory Technician Minimum Requirements:
  • Associate degree in clinical laboratory technology or equivalent (NYS Certified Clinical Laboratory Technician).

Clinical Laboratory Technologist Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory technology or equivalent. (Grandfathered NYS Licensed CLT).

Preferred:
  • One (1) year experience working in a clinical laboratory.

License/Certification:
Clinical Laboratory Technician Minimum Requirements:
  • NYS Certified Clinical Laboratory Technician

Clinical Laboratory Technologist Minimum Requirements:
  • NYS Licensed Clinical Laboratory Technologist.

Preferred:
  • ASCP Specialty Certification.
