Distribution Specialist

Responsive recruiter Titan Pro SCI is seeking a full-time Distribution Specialist located in Clear Lake, Iowa to join our professional team as we continue to grow our business. Titan Pro delivers a proven portfolio of products and value added solutions that enable growers, dealers, and Titan Pro to prosper. Duties include: Dealer Logistics Coordination.

  • Setting up early season delivery & bulk breakdowns
  • Scheduling returns
  • Generating driver paperwork/tasks
  • Coordinating shipments with seed

Route Planning.

  • Creating driver routes, stops, and ensuring staying within DOT restrictions
  • Routinely communicate load and route information with drivers according to plan.
  • Resolving delivery issues as required

Warehouse Pick Task Generation.

  • Releasing orders in ByDesign to Data Collect for warehouse personnel
  • Checking availability
  • Creating put away tasks on dealer returns and receiving from suppliers

Dealer Inventory Management.

  • Inventory Cap Management (releasing shipments)
  • Utilizing inventory cap control charts for decision making
  • Seed inventory analysis

Education and Work Experience: Typically has an associate or bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Prefer one or more years of experience in Agricultural business operations roles such as distribution, dealer support and customer service. Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge. Good understanding of systems level functioning; E2E Supply Chain Philosophy; Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools; and organization development progression levels.
  • Product knowledge. Good knowledge of seed, crop protection, fertilizer and crop insurance agricultural product life cycles.
  • Ability to effectively utilize DMAIC/PDCA methodologies to facilitate problem solving and build team effectiveness.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate a high level of response from internal and external customers.
  • Ability to organize and effectively balance time usage between achievement of high level strategic priorities while managing a wide range of process and work instruction level tactical details.
  • Embraces the necessity for change and continuous professional development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation: $21.00 per hour
