About the Role
As an Algorithms Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in steering the personalization strategy at Canva. Reporting to the Chief Algorithms Officer, you will have the opportunity to lead cross-functional teams in developing and implementing sophisticated algorithms that enhance user engagement and retention. Your work will be instrumental in building a personalization moat that strengthens Canva's competitive edge. This role comes with significant ownership and impact, demands a blend of strategic vision and hands-on execution, as you collaborate with various teams to elevate Canva's user experience to unprecedented heights. 

  • You will lead the development of personalization algorithms that enhance user engagement and retention.

  • You will help discover impactful opportunities to apply ML algorithms in partnership with business leaders and stakeholders.

  • You will collaborate with ML engineers and researchers, backend and frontend engineers, data scientists, and designers to integrate AI/ML models into Canva's product offerings.

  • You will provide strategic direction for the personalization roadmap, aligning it with Canva's broader business goals.

  • You will analyze user data to uncover insights and drive data-informed decision-making.

  • You will communicate complex algorithmic concepts to non-technical stakeholders, fostering a culture of cross-disciplinary collaboration.

The target salary range for this position is $254,000 to $332,000 USD. When calculating offers, we make salary decisions based on market data and candidates' skills and experience.
