Cane workers are individuals who are involved in the cultivation, harvesting, and processing of sugarcane or similar cane crops. Their duties may include planting, irrigating, cutting, and transporting cane stalks, often working in agricultural fields or at processing facilities. Cane workers play a crucial role in the production of sugar and related products, and their job can be physically demanding and seasonal depending on the region. They may use manual tools or operate machinery to assist with harvesting and processing tasks.

What are some common challenges faced by sugarcane farmers during the harvesting season?

Coordinating with harvesting teams and ensuring timely delivery is crucial to prevent yield losses due to spoilage or delays. Additionally, farmers must manage equipment maintenance and adhere to safety protocols to ensure a smooth and productive harvest season.
