Job description

Cancer Registry Specialist

EGA Associates is a Service Disabled Veteran owned company, and we work with schools, VA medical centers, department of Defense locations, governments, and commercial hospitals throughout the country. We assist with medical and education staffing.

We are currently hiring a Cancer Registry Specialist or Oncology Data Specialist collects and manages data on cancer patients. This data includes the patient's history, diagnosis, treatment, and health status.

Position would be in San Bernardino, CA

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Collection: Recording detailed information about cancer patients.
  • Data Management: Ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of patient data.
  • Reporting: Submitting data to state and national cancer registries.
  • Analysis: Using data to identify trends and improve cancer treatment protocols.

Minimum Requirements

Two (2) years of Cancer Registry experience in a hospital, Regional Registry or clinical research setting. Certification: Must possess and maintain a current certification as a Certified Tumor Registrar from the National Cancer Registrar's Association (NCRA).
