Job Description:
We are hiring a commercially driven sales professional who can bring immediate value through an established client base in freight, trucking, and logistics.
Mandatory Business Requirement:
The successful candidate must bring a transferable book of business generating a minimum of CAD 20,000 in gross profit per month.
Position Summary:
The Sales Executive will be responsible for developing and growing revenue within the transportation, trucking, and logistics sector. This role is focused on acquiring and managing shipper relationships, expanding profitable business, and working closely with operations to ensure service excellence. The ideal candidate combines strong industry knowledge, a proven sales track record, and an active network capable of producing immediate gross profit.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Bring and transition an active, transferable customer portfolio that generates at least CAD 20,000 in monthly gross profit. Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities across freight, trucking, and logistics services.
  • Manage and grow client accounts through regular communication, strategic pricing, and solutionbased selling.
  • Build strong relationships with shippers, manufacturers, distributors, and supply chain decisionmakers.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, service agreements, and commercial offers aligned with company profitability goals.
  • Coordinate with dispatch, operations, and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution and high customer satisfaction. Page 2
  • Monitor market trends, lane opportunities, competitor activity, and customer shipping patterns to identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, account, and sales activity records using CRM and internal reporting tools.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual gross profit and revenue targets.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven sales experience in transportation, trucking, freight brokerage, 3PL, or logistics services.
  • Established transferable book of business with demonstrated monthly gross profit of at least CAD 20,000.
  • Strong understanding of truckload, LTL, FTL, dedicated transportation, and logistics solutions.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, relationship-management, and closing skills.
  • Commercially minded, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a target-driven environment.
  • Ability to work on-site in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and sales reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Existing relationships with shippers and clients in Quebec and broader Canadian transportation markets.
  • Bilingual communication skills in English and French.
  • Experience working in fast-paced trucking, freight forwarding, or integrated logistics environments.
