  • Operates tufting machine
  • Conducts production checklist and backing verification.
  • Compares tufted carpet to griege standard
  • Performs quality inspection during production runs, mends voids, and fixes other defects in carpets as required.
  • Assists with Changing backing
  • Doffs off carpet rolls
  • Stays informed of applicable OSHA and company guidelines and operating procedures, and proactively identifies unsafe working, and other environmental conditions to supervisor and/or appropriate department head or crew leader for resolution.
  • Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
  • Follow all established standard operating procedures
  • Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
  • Perform other tasks assigned by management
