Position: Document Scanner/Scan Prep Operator
Location: San Diego, CA 92121
Duration: 6+ months (Temp – may get extended)
Pay Rate: $17.75/hr on W2 (Weekly Pay)
Shift: 7:00 am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday

Staff will be involved in document preparation and scanning operations.
Job Description:
This role includes various production control activities such as gathering and filing records while following standard procedures. The primary responsibility is operating computers and scanning equipment. Tasks involve document preparation, scanning, processing, packaging, and performing quality control to ensure a high-quality product is delivered.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate computers and scanning equipment for production tasks; start, stop, feed, and tend to high-volume, repetitive-cycle production machines.
Prepare documents for scanning by removing staples, paper clips, taping rips, inserting cover sheets, counting, numbering, and identifying different document classifications.
Load documents into the scanner while maintaining input and output order; re-staple documents post-scanning in proper sequence.
Monitor the scanning process and troubleshoot any issues as needed.
Perform quality checks by verifying scanned images and correcting any errors.
Inspect output against quality standards to ensure accuracy.
Prepare the final scanned product for quality control review.
Perform daily scanner maintenance and cleaning.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Record accurate and legible production logs.
