Campos Law Firm is seeking a highly qualified criminal lawyer with experience in legal representation and defense. We are looking for a professional with strategic legal skills, strong communication skills, and experience in litigation procedures to strengthen our team in representing clients in various cases.
Responsibilities:
Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials.
Develop effective legal strategies for case defense.
Draft pleadings, motions, and essential legal documents.
Advise clients on legal processes and expectations.
Collaborate with the internal legal team to optimize processes.
Stay up to date on legal developments and precedents.
Maintain organized case files and communicate effectively with clients, including Spanish-speaking clients.
Requirements:
Admission to the state bar in Colorado and active legal license
Minimum of 1-3 years of litigation experience
Excellent oral and written advocacy skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Proficiency in legal research tools and case management platforms.
Colorado BAR
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience as a public defender or work in a government prosecutors office. (highly valued but not required).
Fluency in English and Spanish (highly valued but not required).
Strong knowledge of criminal defense
