Job description

Join the Ridge Rider Campground team for the 2027 season!

Ridge Rider Campground is looking for dependable, friendly, hardworking people to join our team in Little Orleans, Maryland for the 2027 season. We're a campground where guests come to relax, explore the outdoors, and make memories, and our team plays a big part in making that experience great.

We're hiring for several seasonal full-time positions, as well as a food & beverage role that may be part-time or combined with Guest Services.

OPEN POSITIONS

Seasonal Full-Time Guest Services

  • Welcome and assist campground guests
  • Handle check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest questions
  • Provide information about campground amenities and the surrounding area
  • Help create a friendly, welcoming experience for every guest
  • Assist with general campground operations as needed
  • Ideal candidates are outgoing, organized, dependable, and comfortable working with the public

Seasonal Full-Time Housekeeping

  • Clean and maintain cabins, restrooms, common areas, and other guest spaces
  • Help ensure our facilities are clean, comfortable, and ready for guests
  • Restock supplies and report maintenance or repair needs
  • Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness
  • Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, and take pride in their work

Seasonal Full-Time Landscaping / Maintenance

  • Maintain campground grounds, landscaping, and common areas
  • Mowing, trimming, weed control, cleanup, and general grounds upkeep
  • Assist with basic campground maintenance and repairs
  • Help keep campsites, roads, facilities, and outdoor areas safe and looking their best
  • Ideal candidates are self-motivated, practical, dependable, and comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions

Food & Beverage

  • Part-time OR may be combined with Guest Services
  • Take orders and provide friendly customer service
  • Prepare made-to-order menu items
  • Maintain a clean and organized food service area
  • Handle basic food preparation, stocking, and cleanup
  • Work with the team to provide a positive experience for campground guests

Requirements

We're looking for team members who are:

  • Comfortable working outdoors when applicable
  • Available to work a flexible seasonal schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Housekeeping and Landscaping/Maintenance positions require a valid driver's license

For the Landscaping/Maintenance position, we are specifically looking for someone with a strong understanding of general maintenance and landscaping responsibilities and job scope. Candidates should be comfortable identifying and addressing routine campground maintenance needs, maintaining grounds and landscaping, using common tools and equipment, and recognizing when a repair or project requires additional expertise

Previous campground, hospitality, housekeeping, landscaping, maintenance, or food service experience is a plus-but a great attitude, strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn are just as important.
