This role is ideal for a strategic, execution-focused marketing technology leader who thrives at the intersection of technology platforms, campaigns, events, and data. The Associate Director of Campaign & Event Technology plays a critical role in enabling marketing strategy through scalable, high-performing execution, connecting platforms like Eloqua and Cvent to deliver integrated, full-funnel experiences that drive pipeline and revenue. This individual owns the systems, workflows, and integrations that power campaigns and event execution, ensuring efficiency, data integrity, and consistency across the marketing technology ecosystem. The Associate Director of Campaign & Event Technology leads the strategy, architecture, and optimization of marketing automation and event technology platforms. This role oversees the systems, processes, and execution infrastructure that enable scalable, data-driven campaign and event delivery while ensuring consistent, efficient execution and integration across the CRM platform and analytics systems. This role collaborates with Marketing, Business Development, Events, Technology, and Analytics teams to support high-performing programs and business objectives, with a primary focus on platform performance, operational excellence, and data integrity. This position serves as a hands-on leader, providing strategic direction, operational oversight, and execution support while driving adoption of best practices, process efficiencies, and technology innovation.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead the marketing automation and event technology strategy, ensuring platforms, workflows, and integrations effectively support marketing campaign and event objectives

  • Manage intake, prioritization, and resource allocation across campaign and event technologies, aligning demands against team capacity and business priorities

  • Own and optimize the integration across marketing automation, event technology platform, and CRM system (Salesforce) ensuring seamless data flow, system connectivity, and end-to-end execution support

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex, high-risk, or time-sensitive technology-enabled campaign and event initiatives

  • Lead and support the strategy, implementation, and optimization of marketing automation and event technology platform for high-impact campaigns, flagship events, and complex program builds, ensuring quality and successful delivery

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate campaign and event requirements into effective, scalable technology solutions and related tactics (email, events, thought leadership, paid media, videos, etc.)

  • Drive continuous optimization of platform performance, event engagement, execution efficiency, and data quality, partnering with analytics team to ensure accurate lead tracking, attribution, and reporting

  • Develop and implement scalable workflows, templates, and playbooks, while establishing and enforcing standards and best practices for platform usage, campaign execution, event delivery, and data governance

  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance platform utilization, automation, and overall efficiency across campaign and event technology

  • Own data capture, data integrity, and governance processes across marketing automation and event platforms, ensuring consistency and usability across systems

  • Oversee and develop the Campaign Manager and Event Technology Manager, providing direction, coaching, and performance management

Job Specifications:

  • At least ten (10) years of related work experience

Target Hiring Range $193,000 - $280,000

Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that MWE provides to compensate and recognize our staff professionals for their work. Full time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
