We are also creating smart roadways, serving the world's largest commercial fleets and rental car companies to manage tolling transactions and violations for over 8.5 million vehicles. We are a legal team that celebrates our responsibility for driving growth and success for our company. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, and in a business focused on profitable, rapid, and sustainable growth, then this opportunity is for you.
Essential Responsibilities:

- Managing and overseeing litigation, disputes, and pre-litigation matters, including supervising outside counsel and coordinating legal strategy;
- Providing legal counsel on employment law matters, including employee relations, workplace policies, investigations, and compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws;
- Leading and enhancing the company's global corporate compliance program, including code of conduct governance, policy framework management, risk assessments, training, communications, and program enhancements aligned with regulatory expectations;
- Overseeing ethics and investigations processes, including hotline administration, internal investigations, remediation efforts, disciplinary coordination, responding to government inquiries, and managing interactions with regulators and enforcement agencies;
- Ensuring compliance across key enterprise risk areas, including anti-corruption, competition, conflicts of interest, insider trading, third-party due diligence, trade compliance, and other compliance obligations;
- Partnering with Security, IT, HR, Internal Audit, and operational leadership teams on cybersecurity, privacy, AI governance, and information governance matters.
- Providing leadership and mentorship within the Legal Department and helping drive legal operational excellence and scalable processes.
- Developing and supporting compliance reporting, metrics, and strategic recommendations to strengthen internal controls and promote a culture of integrity;
- Recommending investigation pathways, policy enhancements, training priorities, and control improvements, while escalating matters involving material financial exposure, senior executive conduct, or significant reputational risk;
- Supporting Board and executive-level reporting related to litigation, compliance, and enterprise risk management;
- Advising on and optimizing legal risk and compliance considerations, while suggesting creative, business-supportive solutions;
- Issue-spotting potential legal challenges, and running them to ground; and
- Proactively identifying and anticipating emerging legal and regulatory issues that might impact our products and services.
- Additional duties include:
- Supporting the company's privacy and data protection program, including advising on the collection, access, use, sharing, retention, and protection of personally identifiable information (PII), and ensuring compliance with applicable privacy laws, regulations, and internal policies;
- Supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions by assisting with legal due diligence, risk assessment, integration planning, and coordination with internal stakeholders and outside counsel;
