Responsibilities vary based on position:

  • Content and Tech Coordinator: responsible for managing the media captured by the Photographer and Videographer and creating content for social media.
  • Backstage: responsible for coordinating all aspects of the backstage area. Responsibilities will vary based on the event.
  • Merchandise: responsible forselling merchandise, program booklets, and other items that are available at the merchandise booth for the duration of our events.
  • Photographers:responsible forcapturing our events through the camera lens. They will photograph every dance that crosses the stage using the provided stationary Canon DSLR camera.
  • Audio Team Member:responsible forthe flow and energy of the show. The responsibilities of the Audio Team Member may vary based on event
  • ScoreKeeper: responsible of the scorekeeper to keep the show running smoothly by maintaining the performance order as per the stage manager's' instructions, while also communicating any changes to the audio technician.
  • Tabulator: responsible to keep the show running smoothly by maintaining the performance order as per the stage manager's' instructions, while also communicating any changes to the audio technician.
  • Videographers: responsible for capturing our events through the camera lenses, recording videos of each dance that crosses our stage, using the provided stationary HDR Pro Camcorder. Additional responsibilities include operating a switcher with multiple inputs and setting up livestream for the weekend.
  • Assist with event set-up and breakdown
  • Attend all mandatory training and team meetings.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Adhere to any additional duties assigned by the event director or designee.

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to work long event days (8-16 hours)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 30-50 lbs (event equipment, merchandise bins, staging materials)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous event dance industry experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to work weekends (Thursday-Monday) and travel from January-June.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Comfortable working in loud, dynamic and fast-paced environments.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in responding to shifting event needs.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE

  • HS Diploma or GED (required)
  • Previous event dance industry experience preferred but not required
