Job Overview
Key Job Responsibilities
  • Support the development of Electro-Mechanical Ground Engaging Tool (GET) detection/monitoring systems.
  • Research and advise on the implementation of ViT and CNN for processing of visual data.
  • Write, review, debug, and maintain code for data collection, analysis, image processing, and prototype testing.
  • Use Git, GigHub, or similar tools for version control and code review.
  • Assist in resolving product related customer complaints.
  • Create and revise 3D models, assemblies, and drawings using CAD software.
  • Plan and execute design of experiments, lab testing, and field testing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equal / similar
• 3+ years of experience in R&D, product development, and mechatronics related engineering work
• 2+ years of experience in 3-D design, solid modeling, and assemblies using Creo Parametric is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with building, testing, and utilizing Vision Transformers and/or Convolutional Neural Networks.
• 2+ years of experience writing, revising, testing, and reviewing code, preferably in Python.
• 1+ years of experience using Git, GitHub, or similar version-control tools.
• 1+ years of experience planning and executing design of experiments, lab tests, and field tests.
• 1+ years of experience with sensor data collection, filtering, analysis, and troubleshooting is preferred.
• 1+ year of experience with camera systems, image processing, computer vision, CNNs, Vits, or machine learning is preferred.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to present technical data clearly.
• Ability to complete assignments within due dates.
• Ability to travel in the US and to foreign countries on occasion.
