Lead Low-Voltage Integrated Security Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Lead Low-Voltage Integrated Security Technician to support the installation, integration, and commissioning of advanced security systems in data center and high-tech environments (including semiconductor facilities).

This individual will serve as a hands-on leader in the field, responsible for guiding technicians, executing installations, supporting commissioning efforts, and ensuring all work meets strict general contractor and project standards.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Field Execution

Lead installation of:

Access Control Systems

CCTV / Camera Systems

Intrusion Detection Systems (Bosch preferred)

Perform device installation, terminations, panel work, and system bring-up

Ensure all work aligns with drawings, specifications, and site standards

Team Leadership

Act as lead technician on-site, directing daily work of crew members

Assist with task management, labor coordination, and workflow execution

Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior technicians

Maintain productivity while ensuring quality and safety

Pre-Task Planning & Site Coordination

Participate in and help lead pre-task planning meetings

Conduct and support site walks with supervisors and general contractors

Ensure readiness of tools, materials, and manpower before work begins

Coordinate with other trades to avoid conflicts and delays

Commissioning Support

Support and execute Level 3 to Level 4 commissioning activities

Assist with system testing, validation, and troubleshooting

Work closely with superintendents, engineers, and commissioning teams to bring systems online

Systems Integration

Install and support integration of core platforms including:

SeCore

Honeywell Pro-Watch

Lenel S2

Bosch Intrusion

Troubleshoot system communication, device issues, and network-related challenges

Documentation & Process Support

Assist in maintaining:

Material tracking

Daily reports and progress updates

Redlines and installation documentation

Follow structured processes for quality control and project tracking

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience with:

Access control systems

CCTV / video surveillance systems

Intrusion detection systems

Experience with at least one major platform (Lenel, Pro-Watch, etc.)โ€”multiple preferred

Field Experience

Experience working in:

Data centers, semiconductor, or other mission-critical environments (preferred)

Ability to work in structured, compliance-driven construction sites

Commissioning Exposure

Experience supporting or participating in Level 3โ€“4 commissioning

Understanding of testing, validation, and system turnover processes

Work Execution

Ability to manage tasks, prioritize work, and execute efficiently in the field

Strong attention to detail and quality standards
