Job Description

The FLEX Videographer, Salesperson Video Program (SPV) creates high quality and professional videos with Salespeople and Stylists for Nordstrom.com. In this role, you will provide a beneficial online customer experience while connecting customers with our people, stores, and Nordstrom's deep fashion expertise.

*** This is a flexible schedule, as needed position and not Full-time. Hours and scheduling will depend on volume of work ***

A day in the life...

  • Set up video set daily including camera, audio, lighting and fixtures in line with the program guidelines for framing

  • Ensure proper lighting and focus for videos and b-roll

  • Partner with on-set Associate Producer to provide feedback and guidance to talent on content

  • Coach talent on set to create engaging and valued content

  • On occasion you may be asked to support training or onboarding crew members

  • Manage audio and audit content while filming

  • Backup all footage after each shift and upload footage for post-production

  • Assist in prep and shipping of product as needed

  • Maintain audio and video supplies and equipment, and communicate needed repairs or replacements to regional Producer in a timely manner

You own this if you have...

  • Bachelors or Associates degree with a focus in Audio and Video Production preferred

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, MS Office Suite

  • 5 years Audio and Video Production experience

  • 3 years of experience working in the fashion industry

  • Ability to lift 60 pounds (video equipment, props)

  • Ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions

  • Clear and effective verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
