Job description

Adfinitas has an opening for a Pediatric Physician to join our Hospitalist team. Full time, Part time and PRN positions available!

About the Role

  • Full-service Pediatric Hospitalist needed at Calvert Health Medical Center
  • Calvert Health, in Prince Frederick, Maryland, is a non-profit community-owned hospital.
  • Average 6 patients/day
  • Open ICU, co-managed by Intensivists
  • Staffing Model: 7 providers; 4 physicians/3 APPs

o Day: 2 Physicians and 2 APPs

o Night: 2 physicians and 1 APPs

  • EMR: Meditech
  • Beds 78
  • Board certified/eligible in internal or family medicine
  • Responsibilities include management of sick newborns in nursery, attending high risk deliveries, and all cesarean sections, admission and management of pediatric patients on floor, consultation on pediatric patient in ER and behavioral inpatient unit. Calvert hospital family birth center has level 1 nursery. Newborns requiring higher level of care are transferred to tertiary care center which are approximately an hour drive from Calvert.
