Job description

Help with wildfire recovery efforts. We will have two projects that volunteers can choose from to help restore the popular Los Leones Trail and nearby day use area so it can be safe to open back up to the public. The first group will work to rebuild trails that were lost in the Palisades fire. This work will involve clearing the trail of resprouting vegetation, regrading trail tread, removing burned trail edging, and reconstructing approaches to trail footbridges. A second group will focus on removing invasive species that have popped up after the fire and planting of California native plants.
