You will be working in a fast-paced environment in the Commercial Aerospace industry. We are looking for motivated, technically capable individuals who have the desire to learn to work with large industrial and measurement equipment such as autoclaves, ovens, and freezers. You will be tasked with tracking and logging equipment, contacting equipment vendors, shipping, and technical calibration. You will use high-tech pieces of equipment to perform calibrations and a database to store the information, therefore ability to operate such devices is important. Strong organizational skills are required to ensure everything can be properly traced.

What YOU will do

  • Track calibration expiry dates on certified equipment
  • Investigate new technology to replace aging systems
  • Perform calibrations on both large industrial and small handheld equipment
  • Packaging and shipment of systems
  • Logging equipment information

What YOU must bring to Succeed

  • H.S Diploma/GED equivalent is required. Bachelor's Degree in a related field or Technical educational background is highly preferred.
  • 1-3 Years as a calibration technician performing calibration/repair of test & measurement equipment or equipment requiring technical services is required.ย 
  • Familiarity with Metrology Standards: ISO 9001 / ISO 17025 / ANSI Z540.3; Requirement to also learn and train on existing MRAS standards preferred.
  • Organizational Skills: Tracking using spreadsheet software and communication through collaborative software
  • Desire to Learn Calibration Techniques: Requirement to shadow and gain expertise in the calibration of equipment
  • Technically Experienced: Have experience with digital and electronic systems; Be able to evaluate operation status
  • Communication Skills: Must interact with different manufacturing groups and provide technical and scheduling information.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • This position involves access to export-controlled technology which requires U.S. Person status or government authorization. A 'U.S. Person,' as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.62, includes U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, individuals lawfully admitted for permanent residence (green card holders), and individuals granted asylum or refugee status in the United States. To be considered for this position, you must either be a U.S. Person or fall within a legally recognized export control exception or authorization. If hired, you will be required to provide valid proof of such status.

Estimate salary range for this role: $25.00 to $36.50 per hour. Overtime eligible role. ST Engineering considers several factors with extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, education/training/certification, job level, and work location. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
