- Support specimen collection processes and appropriately prepare samples for testing.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of all procedures, provide training to new employees or students, and help uphold rigorous lab quality standards.
- Ensure a tidy and safe work environment while strictly following regulatory and accreditation guidelines.
- A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health field, culminating in exposure to ASCP/AMT certification preparation.
- ASCP or AMT Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) Board certification must be obtained within the first year of employment.
- Maintain current certification for the duration of employment.
