Your Role - What to Expect

• Conduct routine and complex laboratory tests-chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-adhering to established laboratory protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection processes and appropriately prepare samples for testing.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of all procedures, provide training to new employees or students, and help uphold rigorous lab quality standards.
• Ensure a tidy and safe work environment while strictly following regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health field, culminating in exposure to ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) Board certification must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification for the duration of employment.
