Essential Job Functions
- Teaching undergraduate and graduate math or math education courses, including college algebra, calculus and other high level math courses.
- Creating and maintaining an environment conducive to excellence in teaching, research and services
- Preparing and formulating curricula for math and math education programs' accreditation •
- Participating in student recruitment and retention •
- Conducting research for publication and seeking external research funds
- Providing advisement for students
- Participating in academic services to department, school and university
- Other related duties, as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Education Ph.D. in Mathematics or Math Education from an accredited school.
Minimum Experience Strong evidence of excellence in teaching and research in higher education institutions.
