Job description

Essential Job Duties:
Responsible for pre-operational checklist.
Calibrate thermometers/scales and record results.
Performs random raw material specification checks.
Assist in verification of inbound freight & outbound freight.
Records finished product weights, completes Metal detector checks and case audit sheets, temperature checks, icing thickness measurements, in-process data, ensures customer specifications are being followed.
Records raw/undecorated cake temperature results.
Assist with allergen testing, Cake Breakout lot recording, quarantining on items (Quality Hold)
Report food safety/quality issues to the appropriate personnel.
Follow and enforce all company safety, GMP, behavioral rules, and other policies in the employee handbook, help grow the food safety culture
Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Proactively supports the organization's goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Math aptitude
Good verbal and written communication skills
Experience working in a plant environment
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
Walking, standing, stooping, bending, reaching, crouching, kneeling frequently, use of hands and arms.
