Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and analyze business requirements; translate into software specifications
  • Document detailed requirements aligned with program and user needs
  • Design and analyze DB2 tables
  • Work with Natural and COBOL in a mainframe environment
  • Create and maintain documentation: RTMs, SDDs, SRS, user stories, use cases, DFDs, UI designs
  • Facilitate meetings between stakeholders and technical teams
  • Develop test plans and complex test scenarios
  • Execute test plans and coordinate user acceptance testing
  • Identify and document software defects; assist developers in resolution
  • Write and execute SQL queries to validate test results
  • Support Java-based applications
  • Use Visio to create workflow diagrams
  • Apply SDLC methodologies throughout the project lifecycle
  • Communicate effectively with business and IT teams

Preferred Experience:
  • Served as Test Lead on IT implementation projects
  • Familiarity with unemployment insurance systems
  • Experience delivering solutions in the public sector
