The company focuses on delivering precise survey data and CAD mapping to support engineers, architects, and developers. Role Description The CAD Mapping Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Hickory, NC. This role is responsible for transforming survey field data into accurate CAD drawings, maps, and plans for use in topographic, boundary, ALTA, and construction projects. Day-to-day tasks include importing and organizing field data, creating and editing survey drawings, verifying dimensions and notes, and ensuring that all maps meet company and industry standards. The technician will collaborate closely with field survey crews and project managers, respond to drawing revision requests, maintain organized project files, and assist in quality control checks to support timely project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail, and ability to check work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.
