Job description

The Mechanical Engineer 1 designs, fabricates, develops, and tests solutions to improve reliability, capability, throughput, and the safety of production equipment, jigs/fixtures, workstations, and material handling equipment.

The Mechanical Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver safe, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions.


  • Support Maintenance to identify, problem solve, and resolve issues in production equipment.
  • Design, fabricate, develop, and test jigs/fixtures, material handling equipment, and production workstations.
  • Assist with Equipment Retrofits.
  • Assist Manufacturing Engineers with daily issues.
  • Maintain drawing accuracy and folder structure format.
  • Develop bill of materials and procure necessary materials.

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and materials
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or similar)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
