Essential Functions:
  • Making 2D and 3D drawings accurately.
  • Revising and making installation sheets to add to Insight Lightings web site content.
  • Completing submittals as requested.
  • Edit and modify drawings archiving and issuing revised drawings.

Education /Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent and minimum of 2-5 years of related experience required . Additional education and/or certification from a technical school would be a plus.
  • In depth experience of MS Word Excel and Data entry program is a must.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solid works programs or equivalent required.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
  • Production and Processing - Advanced knowledge of drafting processes quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effectiveness of drawings.
  • Reading Comprehension - Understanding work orders and submittal drawings as related to specific jobs.
  • Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions conclusions or approaches to problems. Using logic and reasoning to understand the layout and options provided in Insight Lighting catalogs.
  • Oral Comprehension : The ability to listen and comprehend drawings and engineering details and concepts presented orally.
