To thrive as a Cad Apprentice, you need a basic understanding of technical drawing, spatial reasoning, and math, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent and a keen interest in engineering or design. Familiarity with CAD software (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit) and a willingness to learn industry-specific standards are essential.
